Shepherding Walk in Mortehoe

Borough Farm offers an amazing chance to see sheepdogs at work. Take a Shepherding Walk in Mortehoe on Thursday evenings in July and August. Walks last around two hours in beautiful surroundings. Adults £15 Children £7 Call 01271 870056 for details.


Pay and display parking is in the main car park in the village of Mortehoe EX34 7DT. Free from 6pm. There is also a regular bus service from Ilfracombe.

Cow Spotting


There is herd of cows on Woolacombe Dunes. This is not unusual, but this summer they are  joined by some painted friends!


The colourful herd have each been painted by local people and groups to say something about the dunes.


There are ten cows to find in total.


A trail map is available from Woolacombe Tourist Information, Esplanade.


Closest parking to the Dunes is the Marine Drive Car Park (fee payable) EX34 9NU. There is also a regular bus service from Ilfracombe.


Tractor Trailer Rides


Get pulled along by tractor to see some beautiful scenery, and spot amazing wildlife all with the help of a knowledgeable guide.

Bull Point

Trips to Bull Point where you will see the lighthouse, are on Tuesdays from 20th July to 24th August beween 10am and 1pm. 



Morte Point

The Tractor Trailer Safaris to Morte Point are on Wednesdays  24th July to 25th July. Trips run between 10.30am and 2.30pm. Hopefully, you will see the seals!

Sheep Dog and Falconry Display


Wedesday evening in July and August gives you a chance for a lovely evening at Borough Farm watching the sheepdogs show off their tricks and ther birds of prey will amaze you. A great evening for all the family. Well-behaved dogs are wecome too.


The display starts at 6pm. Details from 01271 870065. The Farm has parking on site EX34 7HE (on the B3343 between Mullacott Cross and Mortehoe).
